I have included two pictures with this comment. One shows copying an equation image from Microsoft Word and pasting the image into the Picture editor for a multiple choice type question in Schoolhouse Test 3. The other shows what the image looks like in Document View in the test document.

Our program has to translate and embed the image into the test document. The image is sharper in Microsoft Word, but our program does a decent job of translating the picture.

One issue: For some reason it usually takes copying the image twice in Microsoft Word before it will paste correctly into the Picture editor in the Schoolhouse Test 3 program (we are investigating this issue), so most times you will have to repeat the copy & paste steps twice before the image will paste into the Picture editor.

If you are having a problem with a particular equation you have created in Microsoft Word, create and save the Word document and send us that saved Word document. We will then do some testing here in the office.

Thanks!

Inserting the pictures into the comment box didn't work well, so I have attached the picture files to this comment.

Thanks!

(PS -The text of the question and answers are just filler... I haven't attempted to seriously calculate the answer for the equation I copied from Microsoft Word!)

Hi,

I am trying to do what you did but the resolution of the equations after exporting the test to PDF is very bad. In the document view looks OK, but not after you export it.

I was trying to write the equations using the fonts that Schoolhouse tests supports, and with Cambria Math you have a problem, it gives enormous space when writing! I do not understand why. I hope you can help me, this is urgent, I bought the software on Friday.

Thanks,

Hi!

We will not be able to troubleshoot the problem without the original images and the Test document you are working with.

Can you send us two or three of the original image files, perhaps in a Microsoft Word document (unless you can think of another way send the images)? Also, we will need the Test document file that you have saved using these images.

You can attach those files to this forum conversation, or email them to support@schoolhousetech.com.

Thanks!
