Hi I have been busy working on CLOZE worksheets for my students and am having a bit of a problem. How do I unselect a word in the cloze editor that I no longer wish to be removed from the worksheet without having to reset the whole editor? Is there a way to do this?
Or lets say that I made up a cloze worksheet and have elected that I want to differentiate the worksheet so that my lower level students have say 10 blanks to fill in while my higher level students would have 20. I would like to be able to edit one worksheet then save it as worksheet level A or something. I hope that makes sense.
Thanks for a great product. It is indeed the best that I have seen. If only you could port it to linux or Mac. It really is the only program that keeps me chained to a Windows.

Sorry, currently there is no way to reset or unselect a single removal. There is only the Reset option that resets the entire text passage. The developers will certainly look at this in future upgrades, but it's quite a challenge, which is why we haven't done this already!
Different Levels for Cloze - Do the lower and higher level worksheets share the same 10 words? If so, try the following: First create and save the Cloze worksheet with only 10 removals for the lower level students - worksheet A. Then use File, Save As to save a duplicate worksheet for your higher level students - worksheet B. Once that duplicate worksheet is saved, close the A worksheet with only 10 words removed (so you don't mistake one for the other), and edit your B worksheet to remove 10 more words. You end up with two worksheets, but the worksheets are identical except for the additional removes.
Sorry, but Linux or Mac versions are not something we are considering any time soon. Does your Mac run PC emulation software? If so, you could run Windows on your PC and thus run the Vocabulary program on your Mac. We have heard good things from customers running things like Bootcamp and Parallels.
Thanks Chris!
I was able to create the crossword but with no clues. How do you insert clues when creating crosswords?.- Thanks Andy
Hi Andy!
I am going to set up a new forum entry so we can highlight the answer to this question. Look for a new forum entry called "Crossword and Clues".
