Are you making the most out of the data in Schoolhouse Bingo? Try this idea.
By default, the Answers appear on the bingo cards. But add a twist to the activity, and provide an interesting challenge for the class by showing the Questions on the bingo cards. You then read out an Answers and the students find the matching Question.
For example, if you are using Schoolhouse Bingo for your Spanish class, you may have entered data like this:
Question ------- Answer
dog ------------ perro
cat ------------ gato
hello ---------- hola
house -------- casa
With this set up, you would read out the English words (Questions) and the class would locate the Spanish words (Answers) on the bingo cards. Now use the same data, but this time you read out the Spanish words while the students find the matching English words on the bingo cards.
To create this set of bingo cards and call sheets, simply uncheck "Show Answers on the Cards" in the Activity Layout Settings pane, then click Generate to refresh the cards. You now have a new activity using the same data.
