What is a publishing license?

A publishing license permits an individual, company or educational institution to reproduce, bind, and compile worksheets and activities created with Schoolhouse Technologies software, for resale or broad distribution through print, electronic, or digital media.

A company may compile worksheets and activities into workbooks and other educational materials and then offer those materials for resale. A school district may create workbooks or other materials for large-scale distribution to its schools and teachers. Worksheets and activities can also be created for online distribution as a way for a website to increase traffic and advertising revenues.

The publishing license will cover the use of the software program for a single user. The publishing license does not cover the use of the software by multiple users. Additional single licenses or group licenses are required if the software is to be used by more than one user.
